Types of Cycling Helmets

No matter how often you ride a bicycle, you should always wear a cycling helmet when you do. Most people who cycle competitively wear a helmet automatically. But even a casual bicyclist should wear one any time they get on those two wheels. A simple bump in the pavement can throw you over the handlebars and cause a potentially devastating injury. Some cyclists wear knee and elbow pads, particularly if they are going over rugged train, but the most important piece of protective gear you could wear is the cycle helmet.
